Maximkin Maxim Efimovich. Maxim Yefimovich Maxim was born in 1910 in the village of Malye Streltsy in the Kolyshlya district of Penza region. In 1934 he was conscripted into the Soviet Army as an ordinary Red Army soldier in the 96th rifle regiments. In 1939 - the Finnish war, in the 90th rifle regiment as the commander of the rifle squad. 1941 (WWII) - commander of the 375th squad of the anti-tank battalion. He fought in the Kalinin direction, in the battle for Torzhok. In 1941, the first wound. In 1942 he took part in the defense of Leningrad. In 1944 - the Vitebsk offensive operation; second wound. He ended the war in Germany. Awards: medals for military merit, for courage, for the victory over Germany. He died on August 3, 1980.
