Vladimir Fedorovich Belokon, 20.09.1919. - 08.07.2009 г. Vladimir Belokon was born in Yarmolinets village, Khmelnitsky region, Russia. In 1939 he was drafted into the Soviet Army. He was sent to study at the Chkalov Military Machine-gun School, after graduation he was appointed commander of machine gun platoon of the 287th Engineer Battalion. On 31 July 1941, while defending the town of Gaisin, he was seriously wounded. After treatment he was sent to 341st Rifle Devision of the South-Western Front as commander of the company of the 1141st Rifle regiment. In 1942 he was again wounded, in the hospital he was surrounded, from where he left on his own. Was appointed chief of staff of the 1141 rifle regiment. In 1944 he was appointed commander of a separate anti-aircraft machine-gun company of the 6th Guards Rivne division
