In 1938 he graduated from the Sevastopol Technical Building School and was sent by the Komsomol to the Krasnodar Military Aviation School for Navigators. My father's peace service was short. A few months after graduating from school, a battle alarm was sounded. The alarm is not a practice alarm - without lights off, for 1418 days and nights. Her father's crew carried out 11 missions during the liberation of Sevastopol. After the liberation of the city, the aviation division received the honorary name "Sevastopol". Still in his lifetime his father's name was stamped on a memorial plaque on the mountain Sapun in Sevastopol together with the names of 240 heroes of Soviet Union - the liberators of Sevastopol. In the exhibition hall of the museum on Mount Sapun there is a stand where a photograph of my father and his personal belongings are displayed, guides tell about his life and military services for the motherland. In 2010 one of the streets of Sevastopol was named after him. Kindyushev, who went from being the navigator of Il-4 to the navigator of a bomber regiment, carried out more than 250 combat missions, including night flights on long-distance routes. He was repeatedly honored with state awards, and by decree of the Presidium of Supreme Soviet of USSR on August 19, 1944 he was awarded the title Hero of Soviet Union.
