Seitkaeim Ashirov was born in 1924 in the Turkestan region of the South Kazakhstan region in the family of a poor Kazakh. When in 1931 the inhabitants of the Otrar aul united into a collective farm, Ashir Yesimbetov (Seitkasim's father) was one of the first to join it. After graduating from a seven-year school, he began to work on the collective farm and Seitkayim. Drafted into the Red Army in June 1942 by the Kyzylkum district military enlistment office of the Chimkent region of the Kazakh SSR. In the battles of the Great Patriotic War since July 1943. Member of the CPSU (b) / CPSU since 1945. The commander of the reconnaissance section of the 332nd Infantry Regiment (96th Infantry Division, 48th Army, 1st Belorussian Front), Komsomol sergeant Seitkasim Ashirov distinguished himself in battles near the village of Zabolotye, Baranovichi district, Brest region of Belarus. In the area of ​​the village of Zabolotye on July 3, 1944, Seitkasim and two scouts approached a German mortar battery. With a surprise attack, using grenades and a machine gun, the group destroyed the crews and sowed terrible panic among the Germans. The enemy was driven out of the village and driven back several tens of kilometers. In this battle, Seitkasim Ashirov showed exceptional resourcefulness. Having spent his personal ammunition, he snatched a rifle from the fascist and continued to beat the Germans with their own weapons. Eleven soldiers and one officer were killed, and another officer was captured by a brave intelligence officer. In this battle, in total, the reconnaissance group led by S. Ashirov captured six mortars, two tractors, four vehicles and seven prisoners. This ensured the success of the combat operations of the regiment in which S. Ashirov served. For this feat, the batyr from South Kazakhstan was awarded the highest military award - he became the Knight of the Golden Star. By the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of March 24, 1945, for the exemplary fulfillment of combat missions of the command on the front of the struggle against the Nazi invaders and the courage and heroism shown at the same time, Sergeant Ashirov Seitkasim was awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Star medal ( No. 6117). For military merit, he was also awarded the Orders of the Red Banner, Red Star, Glory III degree. In 1946, senior sergeant S. Ashirov was demobilized. He returned to his native village. In 1968 he graduated from the Samarkand Agricultural Institute in Uzbekistan. He worked as the chief animal technician at the state farm "Koksuisky", then director of the state farm "Chardara" in the Chimkent now South Kazakhstan region of Kazakhstan.
