Subdivision: Artillery Division of the Bryansk Front (Trophy Artillery Division). He participated in three wars - the First World War, the Civil War in Russia and the Great Patriotic War - he was awarded eighteen awards. For participation in the Great Patriotic War, he was awarded the Orders of Lenin, the Red Banner, the Patriotic War I degree and medals (all orders and medals were transferred to the Military Museum of Armenia). Born on January 28, 1894 in Artashat, Erivan district in a peasant family. He graduated from the 6th grade of the Yerevan gymnasium, worked as an official at the post office. In March 1915, he was drafted into the Russian Imperial Army. In May 1916 he graduated from the school of warrant officers and served in the 272nd reserve infantry regiment in the city of Novocherkassk. From the beginning of 1917 he was on the Southwestern Front. He was elected commander of the machine-gun team of the 74th Stavropol Infantry Regiment of the 19th Infantry Division. For participation in battles, he was awarded the Badge of Distinction of the Military Order, the Order of St. Vladimir of the 4th degree, the Order of St. Stanislav of the 3rd degree and the Order of St. Anna of the 3rd and 4th degrees. He participated in hostilities as part of the Red Army against the Dashnak government of the Republic of Armenia. From 1922 to 1931 he served on armored trains and in the Armenian Infantry Division. Since 1932 - teaching at the Transcaucasian United Military School and the Kharkov Artillery School. Graduated from the Higher Artillery School and the Military Academy of the Workers 'and Peasants' Red Army (hereinafter - the Red Army) named after M.V. Frunze. Before the Great Patriotic War, with the rank of lieutenant colonel, he served as deputy head of an artillery school for combat and training. He began the Great Patriotic War as deputy chief of a detachment of Kharkov cadets. In the initial period of the war, he commanded the artillery of the 8th Infantry Division, which was part of the Bryansk Front (1941-1943). Then he was appointed commander of the 64th Cannon Heavy Artillery Brigade (1943), and then took the post of deputy. commander of artillery of the 43rd Army of the 1st Baltic Front (1943-1944). At the final stage of the war, he was the chief of artillery of the 1st Rifle Corps of the 43rd Army of the 1st Baltic Front and the 1st Shock Army of the Leningrad Front (1944-1945) and distinguished himself in the battles for the liberation of Belarus and the Baltic states. In 1942 he joined the CPSU (b). November 19, 1944 K.V. Akhnazaryan was awarded the rank of Major General of Artillery. After the end of the war K.V. Akhnazaryan continued to serve in the Soviet Army as commander of the artillery of the 1st Rifle Corps, the 5th Guards Don Cossack Cavalry Corps and the 29th Rifle Corps. In 1953 he was dismissed due to illness. While in retirement, he worked in the military-scientific society of the House of Officers of the Garrison in the city of Krasnodar.
