In the battle on February 15, 1945, in the outskirts of the city of Zinten, he took part in the assault on the corps of the military town barracks, destroyed 10 enemy soldiers with personal weapon fire. By order of the 176th Infantry Division No. 013 / n of February 28, 1945 (Konigsbeg direction of the 3rd Belorussian Front), he was awarded the Order of Glory, third degree. In battle on March 11, 1945, the commander of the reconnaissance squad of 3 batteries ml. Sergeant V.I. Having found 2 well-disguised enemy machine guns, he timely gave target designation to the division command post, as a result of which the machine guns were destroyed by artillery fire and the success of the infantry's actions was ensured. On March 17, 1945, under the fire of enemy machine guns and machine guns, risking his own life, he carried the seriously wounded commander of the 3rd battery, Lieutenant Semakov, from the battlefield, thereby saving his life. He was awarded the Order of Glory, second degree. He was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War, 1st degree.
