Eroshin Kuzma Markovich

Rank: Military Engineer. Corps: Engineering troops. Unit: 7th Panzer division. Kuzma Markovich Eroshin was born on October 29, 1912 in the village of Kushchapino in the Kadomsky district of the Ryazan region. Graduated from 5 classes, after finishing school he studied to be a driver. From November 1937, Kuzma Markovich worked as a foreman for the repair of automobile and military vehicles. A military ID card was issued to Eroshin by The Kadomsky district military Commissariat of the Ryazan region on December 26, 1947. On October 4, 1942, Kuzma took the military oath under the 7th tank battalion. Eroshin K. M. participated in the Patriotic war and subsequent military operations to protect the USSR as a member of the 141st tank division as a Brigadier for the repair of automobile and military vehicles from June 25, 1941. The 141st Panzer division was formed on September 1, 1941 in Rzhev on the basis of the 110th Panzer division. In early September, the brigade participated in the offensive operation in the Starodub direction in 20 km to the west from Trubchevsk as part of General Ermakov's mobile group. Then during September 1941 he participated in local counter-offensives on Shostka and Yampol. It was defeated during the Orel-Bryansk operation (September 30-October 23, 1941) and disbanded in December 1941. From August to September 2, 1945, Eroshin K. M. served in the mobile repair plant No. 1 as a foreman for the Assembly of tank engines. During his military service, he repaired many combat vehicles of the Soviet army. Often the repair of automobile and military equipment had to be done under enemy fire. Kuzma was awarded of many awards for his participation in the Great Patriotic war. Awards of my great-grandfather: - the Order of The Great Patriotic War 2nd Class" a medal "For Combat Service", medal "For Victory over Japan", medal "Twenty years of victory in the great Patriotic war 1941-1945", medal "Thirty years of victory in the great Patriotic war 1941-1945", medal "Forty years of victory in the great Patriotic war 1941-1945" medal "60 years of the armed forces of the USSR". In peacetime, Kuzma Markovich worked as a firefighter. In his spare time Eroshin K. M. spent time with the family and built a house. Often on weekends, he went hunting, and also liked to collect mushrooms and herbs, from which he later made various medicines. Kuzma Markovich Eroshin died in 1985
