Golokhvastov Lev Georgievich
Lev Georgievich was born on December 19, 1925. As a fifteen-year-old teenager, he went to work at a defense plant in the city of Khabarovsk, and when he was not 18 years old he volunteered for the front. Young intelligence officer L.G. Golokhvastov took part in the battles for the liberation of Belarus, Poland, took part in the battles on the territory of Germany. As an intelligence officer in the 69th Army, he reached Berlin, where in heavy battles he caused fire on himself, was seriously wounded and, subsequently, due to wounds, was recognized as a disabled person of group 2. His military path was marked with medals "For Courage", "For the Capture of Berlin", "For Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945", the Order of the Patriotic War of the 1st degree and many others. Since November 1945, Lev Georgievich lived in the village Kirovsky, Kirovsky district of Primorsky Krai, where he devoted 54 years of his life to public education, working as a drawing and sketching teacher at the Kirov secondary school. In 1948, at the House of Pioneers and Schoolchildren, Lev Georgievich organized and headed an aircraft modeling circle for 45 years, which gave many a ticket to the sky. Many of his students became pilots, aviation engineers, and V. Ponomarev became the general designer of amphibious aircraft at the design bureau named after Beriev. The development of children's tourism in the Kirovsky district is also associated with the name of Lev Georgievich Golokhvastov. Since 1954, his guys have walked the paths of V.K. Arsenyev in Primorye, visited the Volga region, Yakutia, the Seliger and Baikal lakes, won prizes at the Zonal and All-Union tourist rallies. The beauty of native nature L.G. Golokhvastov displayed many of his magnificent paintings. The artist's talent was appreciated by many residents and guests of the Kirovsky district of the Primorsky Territory and the city of Vladivostok at his personal exhibitions. By the decree of the President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin for many years of fruitful activity in the field of culture and art, a great contribution to the strengthening of friendship and cooperation between peoples, Golokhvastov Lev Georgievich was awarded the Medal of the Order of Merit to the Fatherland, 2nd degree. Also, his work was marked with the Badge of Honor "For merits in the development of physical culture and sports", has the highest category for the position of "Teacher of additional education". All his awards are kept in the regional museum of the village of Kirovsky, Kirovsky district, Primorsky Krai, where they were transferred after his death.
