Boklin Andrey Petrovich
Corporal. Artillery troops. Andrey Petrovich boklin, participant of the great Patriotic war. My great-grandfather was born in 1917, in the Abdulinsky district of the Chkalov region. He was drafted into the red Army in 1939, when his grandfather was 22 years old. Boklin Andrey Petrovich went through the entire Great Patriotic war. He served in the 900th artillery regiment of the 339th rifle red banner Taman division of the 56th Army, first as a red army soldier, and then as a corporal as a locksmith driver. In 1943, in the battles for the liberation of the Taman Peninsula, in difficult combat conditions, working on car repairs, he ensured timely and accurate completion of the task, for which he was awarded the medal "for military merit". In the same year, the great-grandfather was injured, and therefore spent some time in the hospital. Immediately after recovery, he returned to the ranks. In may 1944, he was awarded the medal"for bravery". Showing courage and bravery, under enemy artillery fire, he took the rolling stock out of the shelling in the area of Kerch. In subsequent battles, during the movement of the regiment, the great-grandfather for several trips on one car, repairing it on the way, timely completed the task of delivering food to the destination, thereby contributing to the uninterrupted supply of the regiment. On April 11, 1945, my great-grandfather was awarded the order of the red Star. On January 14, 1945, when the German defenses were breached, he delivered a gun to the firing position in his car under mortar fire. The gun opened fire on the enemy's mortar battery, as a result of which the mortar battery was suppressed, and this helped our units to move forward. The next day, the great-grandfather again ensured the transfer of the gun to an open firing position. The gun promptly opened direct fire on the enemy infantry, resulting in up to 15 soldiers and officers being killed and dispersed to a company of enemy infantry. On the same day, he provided the transfer of 250 shells. On February 2, 1945, a German Messerschmidt aircraft knocked out his great-grandfather's car, and he repaired the car under enemy air bombing and prepared it for subsequent combat missions. My great-grandfather returned home to his family in his village. He had children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. We are all very proud of him and honor and respect his memory. On April 6, 1985, for the fortieth anniversary of the Victory, he was awarded the order of the Patriotic war, I degree. Andrey Petrovich Boklin died on may 7, 1997. They buried him on Victory Day.
