From April 1943 to February 1944, he participated in the battles of the 1st Ukrainian front. He was again seriously wounded, having received shrapnel wounds. And again, after being hospitalized, he returned to the service. From February to October 1944, he participated in the battles of the 2nd Ukrainian front. From October 1944 to the end of the war on the 1st Belorussian front. In April 1945, the regiment of Peter Grigoryevich participated in the capture of the city of Frankfurt with the transition to the offensive on the city of Berlin. Participating in the battles to destroy a strong group of enemy troops South-East of the city of Berlin, Pyotr Grigoryevich showed examples of courage, unrestrained courage and skill. Having a good experience, skillfully using self-propelled installations, he helped the regiment to successfully complete its tasks. During the period from 24 to 29 April 1945, the guard battery of second Lieutenant brudanin destroyed two self-propelled guns, twelve guns of different calibers, 15 machine guns, two mortar batteries and up to 150 German soldiers. Guard Junior Lieutenant brudanin Pyotr Grigoryevich was awarded the government award "Order of the red banner", as well as the"order of the Patriotic war of the 2nd degree".
