Bocharov Anton Petrovich

Rank: senior Sergeant. Military branch: aviation. Anton Petrovich Bocharov - my uncle, was born in 1922 in der. Pochinki, Noginsk district, Moscow region. In 1940, he graduated from the aviation club courses in Noginsk, and on March 25, 1940, he was called up to the red army by the Noginsk city military Commissariat. Sent to the Kachin military pilot school. Successfully graduated from school in a year, and with the rank of Sergeant left in it as an instructor. With the beginning of the war, the school (at this time the Myasnikov military aviation school) was evacuated to Krasny Kut, Saratov region), Anton continued to train pilots, and wrote applications for sending him to the front. Further information about it is sketchy. Anton was sent to the front in the summer of 1942. Anton's last duty station was 867 IAP (fighter aviation regiment). In a notice received by Anton's mother in early 1943, it was written: "Your son, officer, Bocharov A. P. after completing a combat mission did not return to his unit on December 21, 1942." Anton's father is Pyotr Timofeyevich, also a participant in the war, who passed the battle path from Stalingrad to oz. Balaton, after the war, was looking for a son for a long time. His requests to all archive instances remained. But neither the exact place of death, burial, or circumstances of Anton's death could be found. All that remains is an unknown memory, or an eyewitness account passed on to me in words by my parents. That at the end of 1942, there were fierce battles in the Voronezh region. In 867 IAP Anton arrived, allegedly, only in December 1942. Part of this time was relocated to a new airfield. And Anton, with two more of the same newly arrived pilots, flew with the command of the passengers. This flight was fatal. The plane was shot down, no one survived. Whether it was really so - to find out, probably already on it will be possible. There are two names of his friends, fellow soldiers - Brahmin and Smagin. The flight commander is Lieutenant Milyutin. Still Babanov Anatoly with whom Anton studied at Kachin school. Whatever it was, my own uncle, a young 20-year - old guy-Anton Bocharov contributed to our Victory!
