Division: 339th rifle Rostov-Taman Brandenburg red banner order of Suvorov division. Zekerya Amitovich Baisov – my grandfather-was born on February 27, 1912. In 1939, he served in the red Army. In the first days of the war with his brother Yahya volunteers went to the front. At first, although rarely, the family received a message from Yahya, then the connection with him was cut off, and to this day he is considered missing. Zekerya went through the war from beginning to end, and returned home in November 1945. During the war years, he showed himself as a true defender of his homeland, a true patriot and a worthy son of his people. He did not spare his life, fighting with enemies, not for a moment forgetting about those whom he left at home. By the will of fate, he was left without a mother at an early age, and his uncle Mezhit raised orphans (two brothers and two sisters). Wherever Zekerya fought, he dreamed of meeting his beloved brother. Many hardships fell to his lot, but nothing broke his spirit. While participating in the battles, he was severely wounded several times, was treated in hospitals, without being treated, he asked to return to the front. The fearless red army soldier fought in the most difficult sections of the front as part of the ground forces of an infantry division consisting of three infantry regiments, field mail 39536. For military services, he was awarded the medals "for Bravery", "for the victory over Germany", "for the liberation of Poland", "for the capture of Warsaw", many times he was declared grateful for breaking through the German defense. Never stain the honor and dignity of a soldier, performing his duty, after a series of severe trials, difficulties, hardships, demobilized from the red Army, returned home, to family, to changing the weapons of war for tools to start building a new life. After returning from the front, Sekera Ametovich long worked in RES in and. Adyge-Khabl', in a brick factory, etc. 01.06.1978 years he was gone. His bright image is forever preserved in the memory of his sons, daughters, sisters, friends and relatives. His life, his exploits, his way of thinking-everything is worthy of imitation.
