Troshin Nikolai Danilovich was born in 1922. Was drafted into the army in May 1941, Sukhinichsky RVK of the Smolensk region. He made his way from an ordinary soldier to a petty officer of the Guards 482 of a separate cable-pole company of the 39th Army. The main task of the telephone-costruction company was the creation and maintenance of temporary overhead telephone-construction communication lines. For this, special tests with an insulator were used, on which various types of cables were attached. The 39th army took part in the hostilities of the Kalinin, Zapodny, 3rd Belarusian, 1st Baltic fronts. participated in the Moscow and Rzhev battles. The 39th army took part in the Vitebsk, Belorussian, Baltic, East Prussian operations. Together with the 482 separate telephone-construction company, Sergeant Major Nikolai Danilovich Troshin marched to Western Europe. In May June 1945, the 39th Army was redeployed to Mongolia and on June 20 was included in the Trans-Baikal Front. Its composition took part in the Soviet-Japanese War of 1945. During the front-line offensive Khingano-Mukden operation (August 9, September 2), the army's troops attacked the Timpag-Kulit salient against the troops of the 3rd front of the Kwantung Army and the left flank of the 4th separate army.
