Ryabova Alexandra Kirillovna (worker in the rear) was born on February 25, 1931 in the village of Kunya Sarma, Krasnopartizansky District, Saratov Region. She studied at a local school for 4 classes. During the war, at the age of ten, she went to work. The girl worked in the field - she planted vegetables, tobacco. She survived during hunger, and now recalls that often, in order not to die of hunger, she had to eat grass. After the war, when she was fifteen, she got a job as an accountant in a tractor brigade. Five years later, Alexandra Kirillovna was elected a deputy to the local village council, then she began to work as a secretary in the same village council. After getting married, she gave birth to a child and took up his upbringing. Later she worked as an accountant of an irrigated area. From her native village she moved with her family to the city of Balakovo, where she worked as an accountant at various enterprises of the city, until her retirement. She was awarded the medal "For Valiant Labour in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945."

Samorukova Antonina Kirillovna (worker in the rear) was born on July 21, 1927 in the Perelyubsky district of the Saratov region, the village of Grachev Kust. She graduated from school, entered the Saratov Medical College, but the war began. At fourteen, she had to combine her studies with work in a hospital. “I looked after the wounded, fed them, helped to dress them. Tired after a sleepless night in the hospital, often hungry, I went to lessons. When the war ended, it became a little easier, although I still had to starve ”- the veteran tells about her life. After graduating from medical college, she was sent to her native village, where she led active social work and worked as the head of a medical centre until retirement. Antonina Kirillovna, despite the difficult life is still cheerful and happy. She was awarded the medal "For Valiant Labour in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945."

Tkachenko Maria Mikhailovna (worker in the rear) was born on December 4, 1930 in the village of Bolshie Ozerki, Baltai district, Saratov region. She studied at a local school. When the war began, the girl was ten years old. She had to go to work on a collective farm, and work on an equal basis with adults. “At first I was just an assistant, fulfilled orders of elders, and after work I went to school. Then I worked on the farm, in the field, planted and weeded vegetables on the plantation. Often there was nothing to eat, so we gathered spikelets in the field, ate grass, bark of trees. And everyone hoped for a quick victory ”-recalls Maria Mikhailovna. After the war, she graduated from 7 school classes, but only a year after leaving school she entered the medical college in Volsk. According to the distribution, she was sent to work in the city of Kaliningrad, as a nurse in a polyclinic. She got married there. After a short time, Maria Mikhailovna and her husband moved to the Saratov region, where their daughter Elena was born. So they lived their whole lives together in the Saratov region, where she worked as a nurse at a local paramedic station. She was awarded the medal "For Valiant Labour in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945."

Obsharova Elizaveta Andreevna Obsharova Elizaveta Andreevna was born in 1909 in Sevastopol. Since 1939 she was a chairman of the street committee. In 1941 she actively participated in the construction of fortifications and fundraising for the defense fund. From December 1941 until the end of the defense she worked at the special plant No. 1 as an assistant worker for the production of mortars. In the postwar years, she took part in the restoration of Sevastopol.

Sarina Antonina Alekseevna was born in 1903 in Penza. In the early 1920s, she was sent by Komsomol organization to the Far East, where she began her career. Since 1932 her political positions in Sevastopol were:the secretary of the party committee of the main military port; the deputy chief for general issues of the Hydro meteorological Service Directorate; second secretary of the City Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks; chairman of the Ship District Council. From 1941 she was a Secretary of the City Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks for Industry. Under the leadership and with the direct participation of Antonina Alekseevna the production of weapons, ammunition, and uniforms was established in the besieged Sevastopol (1941-1942). After the liberation of Sevastopol, A.A. Sarina was the second secretary of the City Committee of the CPSU (Bolshevik). Since 1950 she was appointed as Deputy Head of the Department for the Reconstruction of Sevastopol under the Council of Ministers of the RSFSR. In 1953, she became a Deputy Manager of the “Sevastopolstroy” trust. Retired since 1957. In 1957-1991 she was engaged in social work. She was named an Honorary Citizen of the Hero City of Sevastopol. Awards: Order of the “Patriotic War of the 1st class”, Order of the Red Star, Order “Badge of Honour”. Medal “For the Defence of Sevastopol”, Medal “For the Defence of the Caucasus”, etc. She died in 1997, was buried at the Communards cemetery.

Povolnova Maria Aksenovna Povolnova Maria Aksenovna ( worker in the rear) was born on August 21, 1920 in the Saratov region of the Bazarno-Karabulak district in the working village of Khvatovka. The family had seven children. Throughout the war she lived in Khvatovka, and from 1936 to 1955 she worked at the Khvatov glass factory as a blower. Husband Povolnov Petr Pavlovich, born in 1921, was the participant of the Great Patriotic War and died on May 23, 1976. In 2000 she was awarded the "Home Front Worker" medal for heroic and selfless labor during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. On January 16, 2006 she received a certificate of a participant in the Great Patriotic War. She died on November 20, 2006.

Ryabinina (Kirpikova) Nadezhda Nikonorovna During the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945 she worked as a foreman of agricultural brigade No. 3 (village Kirpikovy); a chairman of the board of the collective farm "Stakhanovets" of the Oteshevsky village council; since December 1945, a foreman of the 3d brigade. During the war years, the brigade under her leadership achieved remarkable success in increasing the yield.
