BACKGROUND: Junior Sergeant Rank of the Army: Ground Forces, Air Force (except for maritime aviation), Coast Guard, NKVD troops, Border Guard Zakharov (in marriage Kurilo) Zinaida Alekseevna (7.11.1922 - 25.1.2005) was born in the village of Nachalovo, Astrakhan (now the Volga region) in the Astrakhan region, Russian, b/p, education - 7 grades of school. She worked as a worker at the Mikoyan Astrakhan Fish Cannery. In Astrakhan, she studied as a signalman. She was called up to the ranks of the Red Army Enotayevsky RVC 27.2.1942. She served in the 346th rifle regiment. In May-December 1942 she served in the 14th (19?) Separate Spare Communication Regiment, 324th Separate Bat-On Communications Company, staff company, station number 32. She served as a radio operator in the anti-aircraft unit (?). Military rank - junior sergeant. Position - com. division. She received a leg injury, was treated in the evacuation hospital № 1673 in Kazan. After that, 17.4.1943 by Kazan military - transit point was sent for further service in the 9th topographic detachment of Kukmor (Tatar ASSR) (military - topographic services created and updated topographic maps on vast territories. Girls - topographers were jokingly called "cartographers" by the soldiers). She returned from the war. 6.4.1985 The USSR Ministry of Defense was awarded the jubilee order of the 2nd degree (¹ 87) for bravery, firmness and courage, shown in the fight against German fascist invaders. In 2000 she was awarded the sign "FRONTOVIK 1941 - 1945". She was also marked with jubilee medals in honor of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the Armed Forces of the USSR. In 1996 she was awarded medal to the 100th anniversary of Georgiy Zhukov. In 2005 she was awarded the medal "60 years of Liberation of the Republic of Belarus". She worked in trade. In 1977 she was awarded the Veteran of Labor Medal for her long and diligent work. She was buried in the village of Nikolskoye, Yenotayevsky district, Astrakhan region. Parents: father - Alexey Kuzmich Zakharov (1897 - 1930), mother - born Evdokia Gavrilovna Shimbarova (30.8.1900 - 25.9.1979). Brothers: Georgiy (13.2.1924 - 10.10.1960), Victor (19.4.1926 - 17.12.1987). Sister: Elena (Tsymbalova, 25.5.1928 - 20.2.2016). Husband - Kurilo Nikolay Mikhailovich (20.10.1927 - 10.3.2007). Children: Galina (Lazareva, 2.9.1952 - 13.7.2012), Evgeniy (28.8.1960 - 19.4.2011).
