Gusman Ziganshin was born on June 20, 1923. He was a participant in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. Sergent. He was hospitalized with a concussion in the city of Vinba on June 25, 1944. He was wounded in the right leg on October 7, 1944. A shell fragment shattered his leg above the knee. People found him in the woods and took him to the nearest hospital in Siauliai, Lithuania. He did not live to retire and died at the age of 58 in March 1982.
