Tsarev Abram Ilyich was born in 1920 in the city of Petrograd into the family of a hammer-worker of a spinning and weaving factory in Petrograd, Tsarev Ilya Grigorievich and his wife Anna Davydovna. In 1927, the family, which by that time had two children, fleeing hunger, moved to the village of Bakchet, Taseevsky District, Krasnoyarsk Territory. Here Abram finished 7 classes. After leaving school, he entered the Bogotolsk Railway School. After completing his studies, he returned home and began working on a collective farm. In the ranks of the Workers 'and Peasants' Red Army, Abram was drafted on September 15, 1941 by the Taseevsky District Military Commissariat. In the military registration and enlistment office, instead of the name "Abram" they wrote down "Nikolay" on the military card, knowing about the atrocities of the fascists. He fought in the 201st Guards Rifle Regiment of the 67th Guards Rifle Division of the 21st Army of the Voronezh Front. In the course of the Belgorod-Kharkov offensive operation in the summer of 1943, the division, in combat operations, contributed to the liberation of Belgorod and Kharkov. In accordance with the order of the 201st Guards Rifle Regiment of the 67th Guards Rifle Division No. 15 / p dated July 16, 1943, the Guard Sergeant Tsarev Nikolai Ilyich - the commander of the machine gun crew of the 3rd Rifle Battalion was awarded the medal "For Courage". Excerpt from the text of the order: "In a battle with the Nazis on 05/07/1943, showing samples of courage and courage in repelling an enemy attack, with his crew, he destroyed up to 100 Nazis with heavy machine gun fire." Since October 1943, the 67th Guards Rifle Division fought as part of the Baltic Front, and later on the 2nd Baltic Front. She fought in the area of ​​the city of Nevel, took up defenses north-west of the city until early January 1944, and then took part in the defeat of the enemy's Nevel group. Presumably in March 1944, guard sergeant Abram Tsarev (Nikolai) Ilyich was wounded. With a shrapnel wound, he was sent to a hospital in Kuibyshev (now Samara). In May 1944 he was sent to the training center to train new recruits. 05/26/1944 Tsarev Abram (Nikolai) Ilyich died of illness, the consequences of the injury affected. He was buried on 06/02/1944 at the city cemetery in Samara, grave No. 1951. In Samara, a monument was erected “The Wall in Memory of the Soldiers Who Died in the Hospitals of Kuibyshev during the Great Patriotic War” (the “Gorodskoye” cemetery, 71). This is a brick wall, on which there are 24 memorial plaques with the names of soldiers who died from wounds. The name of Sergeant Tsarev Nikolai Ilyich is carved on the 18th memorial plaque.
