Vozhzhov was the second to cross the Navlya river and burst into the city, where, following the example of the company commander, he broke through to the railway and, spreading panic among the enemy soldiers and destroying them, quickly captured the station along with other tanks. He graduated from the service on 08.10.1960 with the rank of major. Since 1960, he lived in Sevastopol. He worked as an electrician in the red banner black sea fleet and in the naval hospital of the KCHF named after N. I. Pirogov. Together with his wife, Vozhzhova Raisa Arsentyevna (07.02.1926-12.01.2017), they raised two sons: Anatoly (doctor of Economics, Professor) and Sergey (Ph. D., associate Professor).
