He served in this regiment until 1921, until he was demobilized due to his young age. Sungurov Sungur Basirovich was born in the village of Stalinul, Buinaksk district, Dagestan ASSR on January 01, 1925 in the family of Basir Sungurovich. After graduating from a rural school, he entered the Buinak medical school. But the desire to get to the front and beat the Nazis turned out to be stronger. The military registration and enlistment offices in Dagestan refused to call him because of his age, he was not 18 years old. Then he decides to leave for Rostov-on-Don, where he corrects his age in the documents for one year, as he was born on January 1, 1924, and volunteers to go to the front. In July 1943, the Andreevsky RVK of the Rostov Region sends him to the active army. With the soldiers of the 308th Guards Rifle Szeged Regiment of the 108th Guards Nikolaev Red Banner Order of Suvorov Division of the 46th Army of the 3rd Ukrainian Front, he walked the roads of Victory with dignity. Even a few wounds did not stop or break his fighting spirit.
