Razuvanov Prokofiy Ivanovich_x000D_ _x000D_ Razuvanov Prokofiy Ivanovich was born on July 8, 1897 in the village of Selets, Krasninskyi district, Smolensk region. There was famine in the village and tuberculosis was rampant, so Prokofiy was sent to the city as a shoemaker's assistant to survive. Prokofiy Ivanovich fought since 1918, was discharged on June 7, 1947, having served in the army for 29 years. Passed the Finnish, civil and met the Great Patriotic War. Prokofiy Ivanovich loved horses from childhood, so he chose the profession of a veterinarian after graduating from medical school. When the war began, his daughter was in a children's camp near Odessa, and his wife, who had broken her leg before, went after her no matter what. The trip was difficult - the Nazis were near Odessa, but they met and returned home, falling under the bombing, just the two of them. In wartime, as a military doctor of the 2nd rank, Prokofiy Ivanovich was appointed head of the evacuation veterinary infirmary, where he provided care for wounded and sick horses. During the offensive battles of 1944, he carried out the evacuation of seriously wounded horses. As a result, 7,142 horses were evacuated and returned to service for the full complement of seven mounted divisions. Where it is not passed full complication , horses were transported to the constructed Prokofiy Ivanovich carts. For the organization of medical evacuation work, personal selfless work and uninterrupted supply of Army units, Prokofiy Ivanovich was awarded a High Government award - the order of the Patriotic War II degree 07.05.1945. And was also awarded the Order of Lenin, 30.04.1945, two orders of Red Star, 03.02.1943, 24.09.1944 and order of the red banner 03.11.1944, the medal "For Defense of Caucasus" 01.05.1944, medal "For Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945" 09.05.1945; medal "For Capture of Koenigsberg" 09.06.1945, the medal "For the Capture of Berlin" 09.06.1945. ⠀ His son Georgy Prokofyevich Razuvanov, born in 1924, graduated from the Junior Lieutenant course and was drafted into the army in 1942 as an eighteen-year-old boy. Junior Lieutenant, platoon commander of the 1213 anti-tank artillery regiment of the 3rd separate anti-tank artillery brigade of the RGC Georgy Prokofyevich Razuvanov reached Czechoslovakia and died of wounds in a hospital on 9.12.1944 at the age of 20. He was buried in Senets, the town in Slovakia.
