Mikhail Ivanovich Kharlamov Retired sergeant, born in 1916, native of the village. Kostyukovo Primorsky Krai, member of the CPSU. Participant in battles with Nazi invaders since 1941. In October 1943, at the head of the squad, he was among the first to cross the Dnieper, under heavy enemy fire, seizing the bridgehead and holding it with a squad until the arrival of the main forces. Being seriously wounded, he did not leave the battlefield, continued to command and repel the fierce attacks of the enemy. After being cured in a hospital in 1944 he returned to Primorye, worked as a dispatcher at a motor depot in Iman (Dalnerechensk).
