CITY: Kafino village, Privolzhsky district, Ivanovo region DATE OF BIRTH: 01/28/1926 DATE OF DEATH: 04/20/2012 HISTORY: Alexander Alekseevich Lyubimov was born on January 22, 1926 in the village of Kafino, Privolzhsky district, Ivanovo region. In the village of Rozhdestveno he finished 7 classes, in 1941 he worked on a collective farm. In 1943 he was drafted into military service at the age of 17. In the Gorokhovets camps near the city of Vladimir, he completed the course of a young soldier and in November 1943 he was sent to the front as a signalman. He fought as a liaison officer for a separate company of anti-tank rifles of the 53rd motorized rifle brigade. Then he fought on the 1st Baltic Front; then their brigade was transferred to the Belorussian front, where A.A. Lyubimov. participated in the battles for the liberation of Belarus. During the battles during the service Lyubimov A.A. day and night, he clearly carried out all orders and kept in touch with the company without interruption under any enemy fire. Together with the liaison officers of the operational group, he went 4 times to communicate with the battalions. For this Lyubimov A.A. was awarded a government award - the Order of the Red Star. For the entire period, he delivered all combat reports and orders to the commander of the communications company. Therefore, he was awarded the Medal for Military Merit. Lyubimov A.A. were awarded medals "For the capture of Konigsberg" (1st Baltic Front), "For victory over Germany", as well as anniversary medals. For the liberation of Belarus, by order of the President of the Belarusian Republic, he was awarded the medal "For the liberation of Belarus." He was also awarded the Order of the Patriotic War, 2nd degree. After the end of the Great Patriotic War, he continued to serve in the ranks of the Red Army. He was demobilized (dismissed) in 1950.
