B, and recently, i.e. since September 5th, he has temporarily assumed the duties of the commander of the 3rd Motor Rifle Battalion. Comrade Kaznin himself personally leading the battalion reserve, a platoon of submachine gunners, knocked the Germans out of the forest in a heated battle, restored their previous position, while destroying the enemy infantry to a platoon. On July 14, 1943, when the 2nd battalion attacked the village of Ryndinka, occupied by the enemy, Comrade Kaznin himself personally led the 5th and 6th rifle companies, breaking through the enemy's leading edge and occupied its trenches. During the battle, he personally supervised the evacuation of the wounded from the battlefield. Machine gunners quickly entered the village and after a one-hour battle the village was cleared by the German invaders. Trophies were captured: 2 guns, 4 horses, 4 machine guns and 2 warehouses with feed. On 9 August 1943, during the attack on the village of Veseloe, a secret service was sent ahead to discover that the enemy fortress was located in a brick factory. At night they crossed the water line and drove the Germans out of the trenches, destroying up to 30 enemy soldiers and officers. On August 12, 1943, when attacking the village of Tsirkuny, Comrade Kaznin went with the headquarters to the infantry battle formations, clearly controlled the battle and quick dashes, under the cover of mortar fire, the battalion approached the enemy. The enemy could not withstand the onslaught of Russian soldiers and withdrew indiscriminately, leaving up to 40 corpses on the battlefield. He was killed in action on 6 December 1943 when he took Hill 179.7. Novo-Prazhsky District, Kirovograd region, Ukrainian SSR. He was buried in the area of hill 179.7.
