Baltuto Daniel Timofeevich

Rank: red army soldier. Branch of service: artillery. I'M PROUD OF MY GRANDFATHER! Great Patriotic war! How much grief and tears it brought to people. But we know all the horrors that took place in those distant years, only from books and films. Once you let that pain go through you, you'll never forget it. I recently learned that 500,000 people went to the front from the Kuibyshev (Samara) region during the great Patriotic war, and 220,000 people returned. Why are there cases of abuse and demolition of monuments to war heroes in our time? Don't those who do this understand what brave people they were, how bravely they defended their Homeland and a bright future for us living today? I Batuta Alexander, I want to tell about my grandfather – Daniel T. Batuto. All this, of course, from the words of my mother, since I was about five years old when my grandfather died. Danil Timofeevich boltuto was born on April 5, 1916 in the village of Khmelevka in the Klyavlinsky district of the Kuibyshev region. Before the war, he worked in the police. By the beginning of the great Patriotic war, my grandfather served in the red Army and went through the Soviet-Finnish war of 1939-1940. In 1941, my grandfather volunteered for the front and served as a telephone operator in the 5th medical and sanitary brigade. He was shell-shocked, returned to service and finished his military career in 1945. Among his military awards were: - the medal "for military merit", - the order of the"Patriotic war II degree". After the war, he married and had seven children. My mother-Chatterbox Tatiana Danilovna told: "Every year since childhood, my father took us to the parade, in the evening we watched the Victory salute on the embankment. When we grew up, my father took his grandchildren. It was so solemn for him, he was proud! My father never mentioned the war. When watching films about the war, I always cried, not ashamed of tears, although I was very strong. My father took an active part in raising children, was always fair and proud of them." Unfortunately, I was about five years old when my grandfather passed away. It's a pity that I didn't have much contact with my grandfather, I didn't know him very well, but some childhood memories excite me. In October 1999, my grandfather died, and he was only 83 years old. Representatives from the military enlistment office saw him off on his last journey, and the soldiers saluted him like a Hero. And he is a Hero to me. On may 9, 2013, Dmitry Novoselov, a great - grandson, carried a poster of Danila Timofeevich Boltuto's great-grandfather on V. V. Kuibyshev square. On may 9, 2016, I took the baton and participated in the March of the"Immortal regiment". My grandfather once again participated in the Memorial Parade. In 2015, my mother and I managed to enter data about my grandfather in the list of the Immortal regiment in the city of Samara, Samara region. My mother shared her memories of my father on the pages of the Immortal regiment. Made an extract from the order of the Archive for awarding. Unfortunately, I would like to find more information about my grandfather. But so far in vain. It's a pity that I didn't have much contact with my grandfather, I didn't know him very well, but those childhood memories still live in me. It doesn't matter what rank he served in, it's important that he fought for our happy childhood. I am always proud of my grandfather - Batuta by Danil Kalashnikov.
