Belykh Alexey Ivanovich

Rank: Sergeant. Branch of service: army, air force (except marine aviation), the coast guard, the troops of the NKVD border troops. Division: 163rd rifle Romno-Kiev order of Lenin red banner order of Suvorov and Kutuzov division. My grandfather Belykh Alexey Ivanovich was drafted into the Red Army on August 24, 1941, and participated in the great Patriotic war from September 1941 on the North-Western, Voronezh, 1st Ukrainian, and 2nd Ukrainian fronts. He fought bravely, was wounded three times, in October 1941, seriously, but each time returned to service. He was the commander of the Department of ammunition supply, served as a personal example for others, as stated in the award documents, in any conditions, under mortar and machine-gun fire, showing courage, courage and bravery, despite the rough terrain, timely delivered ammunition to the battlefield. As partorg of the company, on 17.11.1943, at the time of the attack of enemy tanks and infantry, he raised fighters to fight against enemy equipment and personally knocked out one armored vehicle and destroyed three fascists. 14.12.1944 year, delivering ammunition, met with a group of Germans in five soldiers, not confused, entered the battle, the fire of his machine gun destroyed three fascists, two put to flight. He was awarded the medals "for Bravery", "for military merit", the order of the red Star, and the order of the Patriotic war of the second degree for his valor and courage repeatedly shown in battles with the enemy. We learned about my grandfather's exploits from the award lists found on the website "Feat of the people". My grandfather himself, when he returned home after being demobilized in November 1945, did not like to think about the war. He was engaged in peaceful peasant labor, after the war he was the Chairman of the collective farm, and this was very difficult! I have always been an honest, conscientious and responsible person. Despite the difficulties, he never lost heart, was a Jack of all trades, played the accordion perfectly. With his wife Maria Grigorievna, they raised and raised four wonderful children: two sons and two daughters. We, the grandchildren, keep a bright memory of our grandparents. I want our children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and future generations to remember the war, the hardships, the life and exploits of their great-grandfathers, to be worthy of them and protect the world.
