Rank: Senior Sergeant Branch of troops: Artillery Subdivision: 268th Rifle Mginskaya Red Banner Division Tuchin Porfiry Mikhailovich was called up to the war to mobilize the Ekaterinovskiy Commissariat on July 3, 1941 in 799 Artillery Regiment, headquarters battery, recon, commander of the computing department until September 1945. In the battles in the Sinyavino area, being at the forefront, under heavy enemy artillery fire, my father and his reconnassance unit spotted 3 machine-gun bunkers, 2 mortar batteries, 4 dugouts that hindered the advance of the infantry. The artillery fire destroyed everything, which made it possible to occupy the front trenches. For this efforts he was awarded the medal "For Military Merit" on 08/26/1943. From September 1945 to October 1945 he was the commander of the computing department of the 801st Artillery Regiment. In battles in the area of the village of Usikorko, being in the combat formations of the infantry, he found and spotted 4 enemy firing points, which were destroyed by artillery fire. For military efforts in the area of the village of Usikorko he was awarded the medal "For Courage" on 06/25/1944. He was demobilized on the basis of the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated September 25, 1945 from October 25, 1945. Awards: "For the Defense of Leningrad" on July 3, 1943, "For Victory over Germany" on March 11, 1946. After the war, P. M. Tuchin was engaged in party and economic work in the Yekaterinovsky, Oktyabrsky, Sakmarsky districts of the Orenburg region. He worked as the Chairman of the kolkhoz named after XX11 party congress of the Oktyabrsky district. After working for 10 years, he was sent to the lagging neighboring kolkhoz named after XX1 Party Congress. Giving all his strength, energy, all of himself, he worked for another 10 years as the Chairman of his native kolkhoz. Porfiry Mikhailovich led a great public work, was a member of the district committee of the CPSU, a deputy of the district and regional Councils of People's Deputies of several convocations. He was a propagandist of the Society Znanie, paid much attention to the military-patriotic education of youth. He often spoke to schoolchildren and youth of the village with his memories of the Second World War. For his selfless pile and successes in the development of agricultural production, the rise of the economy, he was awarded medals and orders for labour "Labor Red Banner" and "Badge of Honor". He passed away in Orenburg on May 31, 1982. He was buried in the village of Sergeevka, Sakmarsky district, Orenburg region. I remember!! I'm proud!!
