Two brothers Maslyuk Grigory Ivanovich and Maslyuk Leonty Ivanovich served in the 208th Guards Rifle Regiment of the Order of Kutuzov 3rd class. Grigory Ivanovich (my grandfather), Sergeant, was a gunner, Commander of a platoon of 45mm guns. Leonty Ivanovich (elder brother) was a horce driver delivering shells. Gregory was awarded Medal "For Courage" and posthumously "Order of Patriotic War of the 1st class." He died on December 6, 1944 near village of Eninge, and Leonty died in March 1945 in the village of Kishber. Both were buried in Hungary.
