Zemlyanoy Fedor Vasilievich, drafted in 1944, took part in strategic offensive operation called "Bagration" aimed to liberate Belarus, Eastern Poland and part of the Baltic states from German fascist invaders. For his courage in battles for Motherland, he was awarded orders of "Patriotic War", "For Courage", "For Victory over Nazi Germany."
