Egorshin Vladimir Ivanovich

Vladimir Ivanovich Egorshin (1925-2003) was born in the village of Kladbishi, Sergach District. At the age of 17, he went to fight with German invaders. On the day when he turned 20 year old, on June 24, 1945, he marched across Red Square, Moscow, as participant of Victory Parade. In 1949-1959 he took part in testing of the atomic bomb at Semipalatinsk test site. Holder of Order of Courage.
