A. N. Koshmanova was born on June 13, 1920 in the village Kryvyi Rih, Krivoy Rog district. She graduated from the 7 classes of the Krivoy Rog school in 1934. Then a 3-year medical college in 1937 in Taganrog. Specialty - paramedic. July 11, 1941 mobilized into the ranks of the Soviet Army. In 1943 she was promoted to junior lieutenant of the medical service. She fought on the North Caucasian Front, 58th Army 356th Infantry Regiment. She was awarded the medal "For Victory over Germany".
