He was called to the USSR Supreme Soviet on January 6, 1943. From June 1943 to January 1945, he was a sapper bomber of the 2nd Guards Airborne Division, January 1945 to October 1946, a sapper of the 34th Guards Rifle Regiment of the 104th Airborne Division. He fought in the 3rd and 2nd Ukr. Fr. Was awarded the Order of Patriotic War 2 st., medals "For Courage", "For Military Merit", "For the capture of Vienna", "For the Victory over Germany in WWII 1941-1945. Fired in the reserve in 1950.
