Gehman Isaak Shmulovich (1911-1995) Participated in the war with Germany from December 1941 to 1945 in the 13th Army of 81 divisions of the 1st Ukrainian Front, 81 Infantry Division, later - 58th Guards Rifle Division. He fought near Bryansk, on the Kursk Bulge, liberated Ukraine and Belarus. He was wounded. He finished the war with the rank of major. He served in the Soviet Army until 1957. He was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War of 1 and 2 degrees, the Red Star, medals "For Military Merit", "For Bravery", "For the capture of Berlin", "For the Liberation of Prague" and others.
