Born in the village of Saburovka, Kolyshleysky District, Penza Region. He was born on February 22, 1918. At the age of 24 he was drafted into the Red Army to protect our homeland from fascist invaders. He reached Berlin with the rank of sergeant. He was a sapper at the front, working with mines, every minute risking his life. He was awarded the medals "For the Liberation of Prague" and "For the capture of Berlin". But the most important awards from the grandfather are orders: the Order of the Red Star, the Order of the Patriotic War II degree, the Order of Glory III degree.
