Maria Abramova Mikhailovna (extreme left) was called up to the front in 1942 for anti-aircraft artillery. At first, she was a driver, but after a contusion she became a radio stenagraffist. According to Maria Mikhailovna, all battles were major, and it was difficult to single out any one. She recalled: "We were under bombardment all the time.
