In February 1943 she left for the front. Served in the 1st Trophy Brigade. M.A. Grosheva was a private soldier in the 5th Battalion. Went through the battlefield: Millerovo, Dnepropetrovsk, Izmail, Romania, Hungary, Austria. Has a number of government awards: "Order of Patriotic War II degree", "For the Victory over Germany", "For the capture of Budapest". Marfa Abramovna was awarded the titles: "Mother - heroine", "Veteran of Labor", "Honorary Citizen of Boguchar".
