Dmitry Sofronovich Glebenko

Dmitry Sofronovich Glebenko was born in 1917, drafted into the army in September 1939 by the Lenin military Enlistment office. He participated in battles with the Nazi invaders as part of the troops of the Stalingrad and Third Ukrainian Fronts as a commander of the intelligence department with the rank of sergeant. He was awarded two Orders of the Red Star, the Order of the Patriotic War, 2nd degree, medals "For Bravery", "For the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945", the Order of the Red Banner of Labor, jubilee medals. He was discharged from the army in 1946.
