And there my ways with the villagers parted. I got to the city of Orel near Moscow. The soldiers of the 110th Rifle Division saw everything on the front-line roads: the joy of victories and the bitterness of defeats._x000D_ I was a witness to the fact that after another bombing of the city by the Nazis, here it was standing unharmed - a granite monument with an eagle. And how much weight he dragged, listed under number 1: one anti-tank rifle one and a half meters long weighed 22 kg. This is without a magazin containing 71 rounds, for which infantryman number 2 was responsible. P. Klimenko saw as his comrade died. And the enemy bullet did not avoid him: he was wounded in the left arm on August 16, 1943. It happened near Vyazma, Smolensk Region._x000D_ And then there was a hospital in Kaluga, then in Moscow, Mozhaisk. In the spring of 1944, Peter went to the village of Olkha, in the hope of meeting with his small homeland, with relatives about whom he knew nothing. For all three years he did not get any letters from there. He came to the village and found his mother Evdokia t home, in the kitchen. My father was at war at that time, and returned when the war was over._x000D_ In 1945, after the Victory, he married his Anna. Her fate was also difficult in those harsh 1940s: hunger, cold, physical labor that was too much for the girl at earthworks in the Saratov Region... So she worked all her life in animal husbandry, the narrator continued ... the clock is ticking peacefully. Minute by minute, time passes. But there was a time when the village of Olkha with its collective farm "Bolshevik" was crowded. In the 1960s, when the school and medical center were closed, the population began to leave: some to Loboykovo, others to Danilovka, and some even further away. The last to leave Olkha were the Korneev and Varvarovsky families. It was somewhere in the years 1975-1976. What does an elderly person need most at 82?
