Zykov Grigory Mikhailovich

Zykov Grigory Mikhailovich was born in 1909. A native of the Likhovidovsky farm in the village of Veshenskaya, Rostov region. Grigory Mikhailovich was a prose writer, one of the oldest members of the literary association "Martin". At one time he graduated from the second stage school in the village of Veshenskaya, then the philological faculty of the Leningrad Pedagogical Institute in 1938. He taught Russian language and literature in the Veshensky District, the Kuibyshev Suvorov School, schools No. 8 and No. 9 of Zlatoust, and at the Zlatoust Pedagogical School (since 1940). During the war years, Grigory Mikhailovich published his first stories on the pages of Bolshevik Slovo (Zlatoust), Red Fighter (Sverdlovsk), To Defense of the Motherland (Ussuriisk). He wrote over a hundred stories and essays, sketches, which were published in the newspapers of the Don, Siberia, the Far East and the Urals, in the army press. She is the author of methodological articles - in the journal "Russian language at school", in the textbook "Modern Russian language". Grigory Mikhailovich - participant of the Great Patriotic War, awarded the Order of the Patriotic War of the 1st degree, nine medals. A small addition - Grigory Mikhailovich, was personally acquainted with the family of the Soviet writer Sholokhov. He studied in a literary circle, which was led by Sholokhov himself. He named his son Alexander in honor of one of his brothers, who died in the war young, not having time to create his own family.
