Biigishi Ibragimov graduated from the Aviation School named after. Chkalov. He graduated well, education and general development, and most importantly, diligence allowed him to graduate from school among the best. The command decided to keep the capable pilot as the school's aviation instructor. So from January 1940 until the very beginning of the war, he flew and trained future pilots. On June 22 - Sunday - the pilots planned to hold football and volleyball matches with the recruits ... But the plans were not destined to come true. On the second day of the outbreak of the war, pilot Biigishi Ibragimov was sent as a pilot of the 5th separate air squadron of the Central Front. The young pilots still had a lot to learn, but the war itself became the teacher. Almost none of the pilots of the 5th Separate Aviation Squadron had combat missions. When our young, untrained pilots rose into the air, Goering's "aces of diamonds" came out to them. Considering this, the command, as soon as the pilots arrived near Kharkov, made it possible for several units to take off for free hunting. Biigishi took his plane into the air a couple of times, but did not meet a single German plane. But a day later, when our two flights took off, a long-awaited meeting with the enemy took place. The Germans damaged several of our planes and one even burned down, but, fortunately, the pilot managed to jump out of the burning plane. The command thanked our pilots for the first and very successful battle. For newcomers to take a battle with experienced German pilots and return, having lost only one car, is already a success, especially by the morning of the next day our ground troops informed the pilots that as a result of this battle they saw several burning and falling German planes. Within one week Biigishi took part in aerial reconnaissance four times, including two military clashes with German pilots. In the fourth combat sortie ours were attacked with great numerical superiority by German aircraft. The battle was hard, several enemy planes burned down, but ours also got it pretty. In this group battle, one of the downed enemy planes was credited to Ibragimov's account, but he found out about it lying on a stretcher, when our orderlies picked him up, after he fell out of a burning plane. As a result of being wounded in this air battle, he had to be treated for seven months in an evacuation hospital in the city of Troitsk, Chelyabinsk region. After his recovery, he was assigned to the ground forces, where Biigishi fought until the end of the war as platoon commander of 1251 park artillery regiment of the 17th Bryansk and 1 Ukrainian fronts. The Motherland noted the pilot's military merits with the Order of the Red Star, the Order of the Patriotic War of the 1st degree, as well as military medals: "For Military Merit", "For Courage", "For the Liberation of Prague", "For the Capture of Berlin", "For Victory over Germany", as well as many other awards ... The veteran died in the city of Buinaksk, was buried in his native village of Verkhnee - Kazanishche.
