Kuchugurny Alexander Fedorovich
Rank: Junior Sergeant. Type of troops: Artillery. Division: 1st Guards Mortar. Krasnoselskaya Red Banner Division. Our family sacredly reveres the History of our grandfather, my great-grandfather, Kuchugurny Alexander Fedorovich. My grandparents collect any information bit by bit. Grandmother keeps his medals, certificates, various photographs taken after the front in the bookcase. My Great-grandfather Kuchugurny Alexander Fedorovich is a junior sergeant. Born on December 18, 1922 in the Tatarsky Khutor. Here he was called to war in 1941. The train was sent and fought at Stalingrad. According to my grandfather, the train was defeated by the Germans, and out of several thousand people, only about three hundred remained. A mortar regiment was formed at the assembly point. This regiment was poisoned, and in order to survive, people were forced to drink water in huge quantities from barrels. The regiment was eventually disbanded. Then my great-grandfather was sent to the Caucasus, getting into the "56th Army" - he was liberating the Kuban. As my grandfather says that near Krymsk, there was a strong attack by Nemtsov, my Great-grandfather was wounded by an explosive bullet in his left cheek. For four days he lay on the battlefield. After the battle, as you know, the Trophy team passes, collecting all the valuable things (remnants of weapons). My Great-Grandfather had a trophy watch, when they approached him, starting to take off the watch, the team realized that Great-Grandfather was still alive. He was hospitalized in the city of Mozdok. The injury turned out to be very serious, my great-grandfather ate only through a tube, only liquid food. My Great-grandfather has a lot of Medals, but the most significant for him were the "Order of Military Glory" was awarded on 23 August 1968. And the Medal for "Military Merit" After the war, my great-grandfather worked on a tractor, cleared the fields. Unfortunately, my Great-grandfather died before my birth, and I learned this little information from the words of my grandparents. I am proud of my Great-Grandfather and am grateful to him for the peaceful sky overhead. Low bow to you - OUR VETERANS, OUR HEROES!
