He was drafted into the Armed forces on September 16, 1937 by the Novocherkassk city military enlistment office of the Rostov region. In 1937, he entered and on June 30, 1941, graduated from the course of the red banner naval Artillery school of Coastal Defense named after the Lenin Communist Youth Union of Ukraine of the Naval Forces (Sevastopol), majoring in "Gunner" (qualification of a coastal artillery officer) with the military rank of "Lieutenant". Member of the heroic defense of Sevastopol in the period from June 1941, gunner, platoon commander of the 724 division of the coast guard of the black sea fleet (724 battery fought until the last day of the defense of Sevastopol). In battle, he was seriously wounded, was captured, from which he escaped three times. Since July 3, 1942, he was considered missing in the city of Sevastopol. After the war, smog returned to Maykop in 1948, where he worked until 1950 at the Lesomebel plant. In 1950, he married Vera Vasilyevna Zhdeneva, a fellow countryman. The marriage produced a son, Andrey (1951), and a daughter, Ekaterina (1958). As a former prisoner of war, for many years he was restricted in movement around the country and living in some of its territories. From 1950 to 1951, he worked in Arkhangelsk at the Rigging office of the Dvinosplav trust. In 1951, due to family circumstances, he was able to return with his family to Maykop, where he continued working at the Druzhba Furniture production Association until 1980. For many years of work, he was awarded the medal " for conscientious work "(1970) and the medal" Veteran of labor " (1980). After retiring, he worked at a blood transfusion station until 1988. The peaceful part of his life was devoted to the successful search for classmates and colleagues (he found more than 100 people). The last meeting was held in 1991.
