Gavriil Volobuev was born in 1888 in the village of Safe, Stavropol province (later the village of Safe, Trunovsky district, Stavropol territory). In the period from 1909 to 1913, he served in the 1st guards Preobrazhensky regiment in St. Petersburg. During the Russian Civil war from 1918 to 1921, he took part in the battles in the Astrakhan steppes and on the Tsaritsyn front as a private. In 1929, G. I. His wife Praskovya Pavlovna, six daughters: Melania, Tatiana, Nadezhda, Alexandra, Evdokia, Nina, and grandchildren helped him cope with life's hardships. Volobuev G. I. died in 1960 in his native village.
