Vasily Ivanovich Krasnoperov
Rank: Sergeant.
My grandfather, grandfather Vasya, was born on February 3, 1919 in the village of Verkhnyaya Dobrinka, then in the Saratov region, after the Netkachevsky district, Stalingrad region, and later in the Zhirnovsky district of the Volgograd region. In 1939, when he was 20 years old, his grandfather was called up for The Soviet-Finnish war. After the battles of The Soviet-Finnish war in June 1941, my grandfather was facing the Great Patriotic war. Baku to the 28th radio regiment in RUSSIA (Air surveillance, warning, and communications troops) The Baku Air Defense Army of the Transcaucasian front, where, according to his grandmother, he was either a signalman or a radio operator. The task of the regiment was to cover the center of the Soviet oil-producing region of Baku and the surrounding fields from air strikes, as well as oil transportation by rail in the Eastern part of Transcaucasia and by the sea in the South-Western part of the Caspia sea. My grandfather returned home with a Victory in May 1945! I have received awards, but there is no complete data yet, because the data has just begun to be declassified. After the War, my grandfather met my grandmother, Alexandra Yakovlevna Krasnoperova (Orlova), a home front worker who was digging trenches at the age of 17. My grandparents lived in Kotovo, Volgograd region. My grandfather worked in the Department of drilling operations in our oil-producing region. He has earned many awards and accolades. Unfortunately, I never saw my grandfather... He died on July 21, 1979, 10 years before I was born. But every year, when I visit my parents, I visit him at the cemetery. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren walk with " him " on Red Square in Moscow in the ranks of the Immortal Regiment. Our grandfather has three children, two grandchildren, and so far four great-grandchildren. And we all know and remember how hard it was for our native man to win for the clear blue sky over the heads of his great-grandchildren. Thank you, grandpa!
