Kocherin Manuel Nikolaevich was born on December 23, 1915 in the village of Erino, Ust-Kubinsky district, Vologda region. He was the youngest, fourth, child in the family, had a brother Sergei and sisters Faina and Raisa. The family was repressed during the "destruction of the kulaks as a class" campaign. The further fate of the family members is unknown to us. He was forced to start an independent life early, without the support of his family. In 1934, he entered the 2nd year of the working faculty at the Vologda veterinary Institute, which he successfully completed on June 30, 1936. Then, from 1937 to 1942, he studied at the Vologda agricultural Institute, after which he received a specialty in animal science. In the summer of 1941, before the beginning of the great Patriotic war, he passed industrial practice in the Oshtinsky district of the Vologda region as a district zootechnician. On may 13, 1940, his marriage to Suslova Anna Vasilyevna was registered in Vologda. In this marriage, four children were born: Tatiana, Natalia, Lyudmila and Marina. Also, Manuel Nikolaevich raised Herman, who was born in the first marriage of Anna Vasilyevna. German Suslov, who died on 16.02.2009 in Tula, throughout his life, he always remembered him with gratitude and considered him his father. In may 1942, after completing his studies at the Institute, Manuel Nikolaevich was drafted into the armed forces by the Vologda city military enlistment office and was enlisted in the 88th Guards Mortar regiment in 368 OGMD, 2 battery, gun number 8/23. The red army guardsman M. N. Kocherin fought on the Stalingrad, southern and Ukrainian fronts of the Great Patriotic war. He was awarded in 1942 the medal "for the defense of Stalingrad", in 1944 the medal" for bravery "and was awarded the badge"Guard". Graduated From Kochergin M. N. war in 1945 in Germany in Dresden, where he was until 1946 as part of the troops for the protection of cultural property in Dresden. His red army book No. 85, issued on 01.07.1943, several photos of the war years taken in Germany, and certificates for medals have been preserved. The medals themselves are unfortunately lost. In 1965, he was awarded the jubilee medal "Twenty years of victory in the great Patriotic war of 1941-1945". All the post-war years, Manuel Nikolaevich worked in the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the protection of the State Bank. He was awarded the badge "excellent police officer", the medals " for impeccable service "(15 and 20 years), the jubilee medal "50 years of the Soviet police". He died on 30.07.1968 in Vologda. He was buried at the Poshekhonsky cemetery. Manuel Nikolaevich lived his short life with dignity, he was a good defender of the Motherland and an excellent father.
