Born in 1922 in the village of Volokonovka, Volokonovsky district, Kursk region (on the territory of the former Voronezh province) in a peasant family. Father - Nikolai Nikolaevich, mother - Praskovya Vasilievna. The family had 5 children. (4 boys: Ivan, Vladimir - born in 1924, Dmitry - born in 1927, Boris - born in 1930, and 1 girl: Nadezhda - born in 1921). At the beginning of the war, two of the sons went to the front (Vladimir and Ivan), and my grandfather, Dmitry, went on a civilian ship - transporting a load on the Lend-Lease. Only Ivan did not return from the war. Ivan Nikolaevich entered school in 1929. In 1931 he moved to the DVK. From 1933 to 1939 he lived in Vladivostok. In the latter, he studied in the first high school from 5th to 10th grade. In 1937 he joined the ranks of the Komsomol. At school, he conducted defense work (he was an instructor of the YUVS, an instructor of the PVHO, the head of a self-defense group). In 1939 he graduated from high school, receiving a certificate of graduation from the latter. The father comes from a peasant family. He did not serve in the tsarist army. During the civil war he was a volunteer in the Red Army. After the defeat of Wrangel, my father worked to restore the destroyed economy. In 1930 he left for the DVK. On September 1, 1939, Ivan Nikolaevich was enrolled in the electromechanical faculty of the LII (Specialty: "Electrical machines"). Order No. 490 of 31 / VIII - 1939. He graduated from 2 courses. In July 1941, he volunteered for the people's militia (3SP 3D LANO). (Dismissed on July 2, 1941 in connection with leaving the Red Army, order No. 531 of 27 / VIII-41) Killed at the front in 1941.
