So, supporting the breakthrough from the encirclement of one of our cavalry corps, made several sorties a day, in inclement weather and rapidly changing combat conditions, accurately bringing his squadron to the target and successfully clearing the way for the cavalrymen to break through from the air. For this operation, the front commander, Marshal of the Soviet Union F. I. Tolbukhin, personally awarded p. S. Redchenkov the order of Alexander Nevskiy.
