After seven years, he graduated from the FZO school. In February 1942, he was drafted into the red army and sent to study at the tank school (Ulyanovsk). After graduation, in March 1943, he put on a uniform with the shoulder straps of a Lieutenant and was sent to the front as a tank platoon commander. From the city of Gorky, where the 111th tank brigade of the 25th tank corps was being formed, they moved to the Kursk salient of the Soviet-German front. As part of the 1st Ukrainian front, he participated in combat operations as a tank platoon commander, then as an assistant to the chief of a tank battalion. _x000D_ Rank: Major. _x000D_ Branch of troops: Armored and mechanized troops. _x000D_ Having shown courage and bravery in the battle of Kursk, he was wounded in the head, arm, and shell-shocked. Having received a new tank, as part of his brigade, he drove the fascist invaders to the West. I fought with them near Novgorod-Volynskiy, surrounded Rovno, broke into fords. Ahead were fierce battles for the liberation of Poland, Romania, Prague, and the capture of Berlin. Many military, victorious roads lay under the tracks of his combat vehicle as assistant chief of staff of the 111-th tank brigade.
