Veretennikov Pavel Petrovich_x000D_ _x000D_ On November 10, 1943, the Kemerovo military Commissariat called him up for military service and sent him to the 135th rifle training regiment (there is no information about the regiment's location). He was trained from November 1943 to may 1944 as a cadet. In may 1944, he was transferred to the 256 guards rifle regiment (information about which division, army and front, as well as the place of deployment is missing), where he participated in the battles of the great Patriotic war as a Junior Sergeant, as a machine gunner. On August 2, 1944, on the 1138th day of the war, in the battle of Velikiye Luki, he received a severe penetrating bullet wound in the stomach and a penetrating wound in the forearm. He underwent several difficult operations and was treated in five hospitals: - separate medical and sanitary battalion (OMSB) No. 33, Velikiye Luki district ; - field mobile hospital (PPG) No. 2305, Latvia; -sorting and evacuation hospital (SEG) No. 1949, Vyshny Volochek;-sorting and evacuation hospital (SEG) No. 3338, (no information available). On September 12, 1944, he was transferred to the military hospital (VG) No. 414, (V/h 163), which was located in the city of Sverdlovsk (now Yekaterinburg) on the seventh floor of the "Techpromural" building (house of industry) at 145 Mamina-Sibiryak street. There I met the news of the Victory. On may 14, 1945, he was discharged from the hospital and sent to his place of residence. In 1950, in the city of Kemerovo, Pavel Petrovich married Mezhevich Maria Mikhailovna, the daughter of one of the first settlers of the village of Osinovka. He moved to his wife's homeland in the village of Osinovka, Sorokinsky district, Tyumen region. The family has four children – Olga, Nadezhda, Vera and Ilya. In 1956, he joined the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (CPSU). Pavel Petrovich worked at the collective farm "Zavety Ilyicha", at various times, as a chief accountant, chief economist, warehouse Manager, and weigher. Served as Chairman of the control and audit Commission. He was awarded the medal "for the development of virgin lands", the order of the Patriotic war of the 2nd degree. He was a long-term blood donor, saying :" I had so much of someone else's blood transfused during the war that I must now share my own." He died on February 18, 1991, at the age of 63, from the consequences of a severe wound in the battle of the great Patriotic war. He was buried in the village of Osinovka.
