Demyan Tukoev was born in 1919 in the village of Inya, Shebalinsky district of the Republic of Mountainous Altai. He was called to the front in September 1941 by Krasnogorsk District Military Committee of Altai Territory. He served in 1254th and 143rd shooting regiments, fought at the Volkhov and Leningrad fronts. He was awarded the Order of the Red Star, the Order of the Patriotic War of 1 and 2 degrees, medals "For the Defence of Leningrad", "For the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945". The photo was taken in the hospital in Leningrad. Karagai Tolstovsky region. March 29, 1942.

On a halt

Ibragimov Shakur Yunusovich is my maternal grandfather. Before the war he worked as an accountant in the Chelyabinsk region, the village of Kunashak. From the family archive. My mother - his daughter, "Children of War", grew up an orphan. She was 8 months old when he left for the front: the Soviet-Finnish war, then the Great Patriotic War, in 7 years her mother died of a heart defect.

Ivan Grigorievich Osinov, 1904. Called by Gornomari Regional Military Commissariat, sergeant. Year of conscription on 20 September 1941 on mobilization. Name of part 162nd Guards Arm. Zen. art order of the A.Nevsky regiment. Since June 8, 1942 gunner Zen. gunner. Participated in the defense of Stalingrad in July 1942, the battles for Kharkov, for the Dnieper bridgehead in 1943, for Kirovograd. He was awarded the Medal "For the Defence of Stalingrad" in 1942 and the Order "Red Star" in 1943 for two enemy planes shot down. Demobilised on 23 June 1945. Died in January 1971. Burial place: Ardinsky cemetery of RME.
