Participated in the defense of Stalingrad in July 1942, the battles for Kharkov, for the Dnieper bridgehead in 1943, for Kirovograd. He was awarded the Medal "For the Defence of Stalingrad" in 1942 and the Order "Red Star" in 1943 for two enemy planes shot down. Demobilised on 23 June 1945. Died in January 1971. Burial place: Ardinsky cemetery of RME.
